Watercolor Wyanne's Way- New Class Giveaway

"Choices"
watercolor mounted to wood
12" x 12"

Hello World!  Forgive me for I have sinned...it's been over 3 months since my last blog entry.  There are a lot of reasons for that.  I hope you'll understand.

First of all....I went through a MAJOR move back to Atlanta.  And it's taken me a while to get settled.

Second....I'm enjoying my new studio so much...I haven't been able to stop creating!  I have an incredible spacious daylight basement complete with fireplace...all to myself and all my art supplies!

When I'm not painting...I've been able to make jewelry again!

Long Gypsy Heart Necklace

And now that the whole family is back together in one place....I've been COOKING up a storm!

Yum....Heirloom Tomatoes for one of my favorite dishes...Fried Green Tomatoes!

But, mostly....I've just been painting.  I've been concentrating solely on watercolor.  And I have totally fallen in love with this medium all over again!

"Little Whale"
watercolor on handmade recycled paper

And now...I want to share that love with you!

I've developed a whole new class beginning January 21st!

The class is 6 weeks long and totally different from any class I've offered in the past! It's not an ongoing class  and it's very personal.  I share with you every little secret, special effects and so much more!  In addition to 30 high quality, downloadable, videos...there will be scheduled group online chats!  We will have fun, exciting weekly projects and I'll be commenting on every one's work.  Can you tell I'm excited!  The class registration is open now.  It may be limited in size, so I can manage answering questions, commenting and offering suggestions on every one's work.  To find out more about the class and to register - Click Here!

I'm also going to give away a free spot in the class!   Yes, another giveaway!  For those of you who follow me on Facebook...you know I already gave away a spot to the person who correctly guessed the name of the class.  But, this one is easier...just leave a comment below to enter, and share the info on the class.  You can share it by Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, email or simply telling a friend about it.  I'm not going to check on each and every share...I'll leave that up to the Karmic Universe.  But, I really do appreciate and love you for doing it.  So, simply enter your comment below and share the class info!  I'll pick a random winner on Dec. 1st!

Now back to painting!

Love to you all!

Wyanne

PS.  If the winner has already registered for the class...don't worry...I'll send you a refund....no worries :)  ♥♥♥

Sweet Wyanne!!

I'm so glad to hear you are doing so well, that your move went smoothly and you are creating in a new amazing studio!! Your paintings and jewlery are just stunning!

I'm so thrilled and excited about your new watercolor class! You are such a gifted teacher; I'm so thankful you are continuing to share your wisdom! You will always be a dear mentor to me, who has taught me so very much and influenced me in so many ways!! :) It is funny; I studied watercolor in college rather than canvas painting (I had to choose a focus) and have always loved it! But when I found mixed media several years ago and fell in love with that, it became my medium of choice. But...watercolor has been whispering to my heart again lately and when I saw your new class offering I can't tell you how it spoke to me! I'm so in and can't wait to get started!!

Thanks again for always sharing yourself with us!! :)

Take care,
Jennifer

Hi Wyanne,
How exciting! Your new class looks magic! [Shared!]

I have always adored the swoochiness of watercolour, the unexpected *happy* accidents, the back-runs, spatters and being able to add extra 'energy' to the painting by using different kinds of infused waters... and that the color can be wildly vivid or dreamy.

Yet, I am unaware of the 'rules' of watercolor and would love to learn what they are, so I can follow or break them as I choose.

I would love to win a place in this class!
My birthday is in January and this would be such a delicious way to get the new year rolling.

Blessings of beauty!
Cat x

I will have nothing under the tree this year because all I'll be asking for are online art classes! But I'm sure I'll get more out of them than whatever my husband would come up with. Putting this on my "probably will break down and commit" list. If you can make watercolor my friend, you are the best teacher EVER!

Helen Fadul said...

Oh, Wyanne, I'm completely in love with your art...I'm from Brasil and I've been thinking about watercolor for a while, but it just not happens. Last night, I found you on Pinterest and I cant' stop seeing your wale in my mind!!!! On line classes can be perfect for me!

I just found your blog while surfing through all the artists involved in the Life 2013 workshop. It looks like you're the only one who does mostly watercolor. This is what I'd love to learn more about.

Thanks for a chance to win a spot in your water color workshop.

I am not sure my first comment took. I don't see it. Anyway, I am ALL OVER this class because your watercolors FASCINATE me. They way you combine them with acrylics is so cool. Love watching your videos. I assume that even though you say to join quickly, I should wait to see if I get the 'free' spot, right? I have told my artist friends on FB already! Hopefully, they will join too.

I have always admired your work, especially your girls. They are beautiful. After caring for my mother (for almost 3 years) who had Alzheimer's and passed away in May, I am now ready to start something new. I have always wanted to do watercolor, but frankly, I never took art in school and I can't draw faces, and I love the ones you use in your work. I miss doing crafts, etc. Continue to do such beautiful work!.
