hesitant....

"Hesitant"

I finished the new painting. It was very exciting because I was able to explore some new techniques. I used a lot of wet into wet techniques with the acrylic, that you usually use in watercolor. I also layered resin. The resin gives it a super hard glass like surface. It also builds up the surface of the painting. It's extremely difficult to work with...not to mention toxic. But, the results are stunning in person. Unfortunately, they don't show up in photos too well.
